1. Introduction
These Terms and Conditions govern the services provided by SunnyPaws LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”) to the Client (“you” or “your”) for pet sitting, dog walking, and pet medical assistance. By using our services, you agree to comply with and be bound by these terms.
2. Services Offered
- Pet Sitting: Includes in-home care, feeding, cleaning, playtime, and companionship.
- Dog Walking: Includes scheduled walks based on your pet’s needs and instructions.
- Pet Medical Assistance: Includes basic medical services such as administering prescribed medications, administering injectable medications and/or fluids, performing blood draws, expressing the bladder, first aid, and transporting pets to a veterinarian.
3. Booking and Payment
- Booking Process: All services must be booked in advance via our website, phone, or in-person.
- Payment Terms: Payment is due upon booking confirmation unless otherwise agreed in writing.
- Cancellation Policy: Cancellations made 72 hours or more in advance will receive a full refund. Cancellations made 48 hours or less may be subject to a cancellation fee of 50%-100% of the booking cost.
4. Client Responsibilities
You agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete information about your pet, including medical history, behavioral concerns, and dietary needs.
- Ensure your pet’s vaccinations are up-to-date and provide proof upon request.
- Supply all necessary supplies, such as food, medications, leashes, and litter.
- Disclose any potential risks or hazards in your home environment.
5. Health and Safety
- We are not liable for injuries or illnesses that occur during service unless caused by our gross negligence.
- In the event of a medical emergency, we will make reasonable efforts to contact you. If we cannot reach you, we will seek veterinary care at your expense.
- We reserve the right to refuse service to pets with aggressive behavior or health conditions that may pose a risk.
6. Liability
- Pet Damage or Loss: We are not responsible for damages or injuries caused by your pet to property, other animals, or people.
- Property Damage: We will take reasonable care of your home while providing services, but we are not responsible for damage unless caused by our negligence.
- Limitations: Our liability is limited to the fees paid for the specific service in question.
7. Service Changes
We reserve the right to modify or cancel services if:
- The pet’s behavior presents a risk to our team or others.
- Extreme weather or emergencies prevent us from performing the service.
8. Confidentiality
We respect your privacy and will not disclose any personal or sensitive information about you or your pet without your consent, except as required by law.
9. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of California, USA. Any disputes arising from these terms will be resolved in the courts of San Diego.
10. Acceptance of Terms
By booking our services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
